Integrated Ph.D. Admission: Physical Sciences
Bose Institute has an established Ph.D. programme in physical sciences, life sciences and interdisciplinary sciences. The institute is a national pioneer in research on astroparticle physics and cosmic rays, foundations of quantum physics and interdisciplinary physics. Many of our alumni have become reputed experts in their fields. The institute also runs a vibrant integrated M.Sc. - Ph.D. programme.
Current research takes place in biophysics, complex systems and networks, environmental sciences, condensed matter physics, materials science, high energy physics, astroparticle physics, interdisciplinary physics, quantum physics, quantum information, nuclear physics and radiation physics.
Bose Institute will be accepting
applications for the Integrated M.Sc.-Ph.D. programme in Physical Sciences,
scheduled to begin in August 2019. Selections would be based on
interviews to be conducted at Bose Institute in 2019 for candidates qualified in JEST (which is scheduled
to be held on February 17, 2019). We would attempt to intimate details
and deadlines of the application procedure on our website, before the declaration of JEST results.
