To join our lab:
Queries from prospective postdocs for SERB N-PDF etc. are most welcome.

Basic eligibility: Prospective Ph.D. scholars should be highly motivated and hold a Master's degree in any branch of science/engineering/technology. Both theoretical and/or experimental projects are available. The alumni and members of our interdisciplinary lab have traditionally registered for their Ph.D. thesis in diverse streams/disciplines. Upon meeting the rules of Bose Institute and the University, candidates will earn their Ph. D. degree in a subject of their choice.

We welcome students from physics/engineering background who are interested to work in either physical systems or living systems or both. We equally value students from life sciences who are interested in undertaking mathematical and computational research simultaneously with experiments.

An available fellowship from CSIR / UGC / DST / DBT etc. is a must for PhD, irrespective of whether
candidates have qualified GATE / JEST / JGEEBILS. For more information, please peruse the Bose Institute Admissions website.

Regarding short or long-term research projects:
Every summer, Bose Institute offers opportunities for a short term research project, details of which can be found here.

Please note that I may not answer to individual queries about short or long term  research internships or projects from applicants who possess a bachelors or masters degree or are progressing towards it.
